Wrestling Society X (WSX) was a professional wrestling promotion created in 2006 by Kevin Kleinrock and Houston Curtis. Its weekly television series, Wrestling Society X, aired on MTV2, MTV Tr3s and MTV UK. WSXtra, an additional program featuring WSX matches and interviews not broadcast on television, was available on the promotion's MTV website and Video on Demand. .



Format
WSX is presented as a secret society of wrestling that utilizes a venue referred to as the WSX Bunker, complete with an artificially worn-out looking ring, for its matchups. In matches held within this venue, falls count anywhere. Along with wrestling, WSX features musical guests playing at the start of each television broadcast, with band members joining announcers Kris Kloss and Bret Ernst on commentary.


History
The WSX pilot was taped on February 10, 2006 in Los Angeles, California, and all wrestlers present were forced to sign an agreement stating that they would participate in a full season if the show was picked up by MTV. Delirious refused to sign the agreement, as it would have prevented him from working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Because of this, he was not used at the taping.[1] On July 8, 2006, MTV commissioned the promotion to produce a full season of episodes for their network. WSX taped its first season of shows between November 11th and November 16, 2006 in Los Angeles, California. The tapings were booked by head writer Kevin Kleinrock, Cody Michaels and Vampiro.

The series premiered January 30, 2007 on MTV. It originally aired Tuesdays at 10:30 pm ET, "competing" with the second half of Extreme Championship Wrestling. The fourth episode of the series was pulled by MTV after a spot featuring Ricky Banderas throwing a fireball at Vampiro was deemed unairable by the network. The episode aired in edited form on February 27, 2007. Houston Curtis of Big Vision Entertainment announced on March 2, 2007 that Wrestling Society X had been pulled from MTV.[2] However, a marathon of five new episodes aired on March 13, 2007. The season finale has yet to air, and was quietly removed from it's scheduled slot on March 20 on MTV. MTV would later announce that they took the marathon as the season finale, and the 10th episode would not air. As of June 2007 WSX's future is still uncertain.

Am vazut si eu cateva episoade...e destul de tare!

Ma uit de mult timp la ea (din 2006) shi mi se pare o federatie medie.Vampriro ala e un mascarici dupa parea mea,nu poate fii considerat o copie,ar fii o insulta pentru Taker.Lizzy Valentine,Cop Killa shi Jack Evans mi se par luptatori buni,cel din urma fiind FOARTE bun.Este o federatie in kre se joaca rapid uneouri dar shi foarte lent.Imbina multa stiluri dar nu e una dintre preferatele mele.Principala lor problema este dimensiunea roosterului....nu au prea multi wrteslerii,dar nu ma asteptam la altceva fiind k e o federatie noua :D

e mishto dar mult prea trucata ! imi place roosterul si incapera unde se tin show-urile dar nu imi plac comentatorii si trucajele dupa cum am mai spus, partea cu electricitatea e prost reusita la fel precum exploziile.
